Kingston Human Capital has been engaged by one of Queensland’s leading Government Departments to assist in sourcing a highly motivated and proactive **A08 Principal Advisor** to join their team.

As the **A08 Principal Advisor**, you will:

- Provide high-level advice and support to senior officers on strategic policy initiatives.
- Manage the preparation of responses, reports, submissions, and briefings, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Coordinate responses to complex and sensitive issues and complaints from high-level sources.
- Monitor, analyse, and evaluate activities within the Branch to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
- Lead, manage, and develop staff to deliver outcomes consistent with organizational directives.
- Optimize the use of human and financial resources to achieve agreed goals, including project management and reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain effective networks, consultations, and liaisons with key stakeholders.

- Demonstrated experience in providing high-level strategic advice and support in a complex organizational environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond effectively to complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Sound understanding of government policies and procedures, particularly in the education sector.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and partners.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
