This is an exciting time to join our People and Culture team as we continue a transformational journey that encompasses recruitment, diversity, equity and inclusion, talent development, workforce planning, and analytics, to ensure we attract and place great people into our business.

Reporting to the General Manager of P&C Business Partnering & Talent Acquisition, you will lead a team of 14 team members who partner across our business of circa 5,500 people. The team experienced significant growth 12 months ago, when we transitioned to a fully in-house TA model from a co-source model which leveraged an RPO, therefore this is an exciting opportunity to continue to mature and transform our Talent Acquisition model and service.

As you lead the TA function, you will be supported by a collaborative People & Culture team that is deeply connected to the organisation. Our TA function are enabled and supported by multiple P&C specialist teams including Business Partners (who are part of the divisional leadership teams), Performance & Reward Partners (market matching and benchmarking requirements), and our P&C Operations/Shared Services teams (managing onboarding, transfers and various support services).

**You will make a difference by**:

- Leading a TA function that provides an engaging day to day service experience supporting both our direct and contingent workforce hiring needs, ensuring we have fit for purpose recruitment and selection practices embedded in our way of working.
- Design and implement a TA strategy with initiatives that enhance our service offering whilst enabling us to the best diverse talent in a challenging and competitive marketplace.
- Build and maintaining effective partnerships and sourcing channels to ensure we adapt to business needs and overcome talent shortages.
- Uplifting our recruitment capability within the business enabled through our team, fostering a ClientFirst mindset to support our people from beginning to end.
- Using data and insights to inform our talent strategy, including close partnership with our Business Partner function to support our talent management and workforce planning requirements.

**A little about yourself**:

- Proven experience in leading a successful Talent Acquisition team where you have designed and implemented TA strategies to deliver meaningful outcomes.
- A passion for business partnering which allows you to translate business needs into talent acquisition solutions.
- Strong influencing skills which enable you to build a compelling vision that engages and unites people to succeed.
- A collaborative leadership style which sets the direction, guides the teams whilst ensuring the right accountability and standards are adopted.
- An agile thinker who can balance multiple priorities, bring a continuous improvement perspective.
- Previous experience in creating, implementing, and driving a strategic approach to workforce planning is desirable
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get hands on where needed
