The role

As part of Saab’s IT Security team, the IT Security Analyst will work closely with Saab’s IT and Security groups to provide specialist security advice and expertise to help protect Saab’s assets from cyber threats.
- Monitoring, investigate and respond to cyber security events and alerts;
- Support the IT operational teams with managing and uplifting security platforms, including vulnerability management, anti-malware, IAM, and security logging and monitoring tools;
- Support IT operational teams with the design and implementation of new cybersecurity technologies;
- Support business with understanding cybersecurity risks and issues;
- Facilitate penetration testing and red/blue team exercises;
- Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office, 9 day fortnight will be considered for this role._

About you
- Your skills and experience will include:_
- Previous experience in an IT Security role, or similar;
- Experience with SIEM technologies;
- Experience in threat analysis, threat risk assessment and vulnerability management;
- Experience in one or more scripting languages;
- Fundamental understanding and awareness of information security frameworks, such as ISM, NIST 800-53, ISO 2700 and how these are applied in operational environments;
- Experience in the collection, presentation and analysis of information;
A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1-NV2 clearance.
