- Minara Resources has an opportunity for a Village Coordinator to join our established team.
- Minara Resources is Australia’s largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. Our Murrin Murrin site in WA’s northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. Glencore employs over 145,000 people operates around 150 operating mining and processing sites, oil production assets and agricultural facilities in over 35 countries.**The Role**
This role reports to the Village Superintendent and manages the village facilities, catering, accommodation, and aerodrome. This role will provide leadership to a small team who are responsible for day-to-day operations of the village, mobilisation and administrative duties.
- You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring contractual compliance of various service providers
- Ensuring high health, safety, security and hygiene standards are adhered to within the team and all personnel working in the village
- Undertaking regular audits of the facilities and services to ensure the required standards are maintained
- Developing processes, standards, and key routines for the site services team
- Scheduling village key activities and managing forward resource planning
- Developing and monitoring the annual Site Services budget, scheduling and managing activities and expenditure within budget constraints
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending solutions that align with business needs and culture
- Developing continuous improvement targets for the function, and drive and measure achievement of these targets
- Liaising with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality services and products, and investigating and resolving issues
- Supporting the administration team during peak periods

**About You**
This role would suit a person with experience in a similar role preferably within a mine site camp environment. You will also have:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a mining or construction environment
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing a team
- The aptitude to generate and analyse data and communicate trends, emerging issues, and opportunities
- Certificate or diploma in Business or Hospitality Management, or similar (desirable)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA WA) Certificate (desirable)
- A Western Australian manual C-class driver's licence (essential)
