**The Role**:
Applications are welcomed from experienced and dynamic Cardiologists who want to join the Electrophysiology Cardiology team at Northern Health, one of the leading public health services in Victoria.

This role requires the appointee locum from **2 January 2024 to 21 July 2024** to support and assist the Cardiology Unit - Electrophysiology Program - in the provision of high-quality medical services at Northern Health, consistent with Northern Health values.

Per fortnight the position is offering two 3.5 hour morning Cath Lab sessions on a Tuesday morning and two 3.5 hour outpatient clinic sessions on a Tuesday afternoon.

The Cardiologist will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members including allied health clinicians, nursing and medical staff to deliver high quality Cardiology services. The role is based at Northern Health Epping Campus.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Undergraduate medical qualification as a first degree is essential - MBBS, MD, PhD or equivalent.
- Appropriate specialty qualifications such as Fellowship of the Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent is essential.
- Eligible for registration for Medicare provider number.
- Current National Police and Working with Children History Check.
