
Lead Appeals Officer

The Lead Appeals Officer is responsible for providing oversight of the Senior Appeals Officers and their case management duties as well as high-level administrative support to the Building Appeals Board (BAB), the Manager/Registrar, Deputy Registrar and other members of the team.
**What we are looking for**:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, convey ideas, clarify requirements and achieve organisational outcomes.
- Knowledge of the building regulatory framework including the Building Act 1993, the building regulations, the National Construction Code and other relevant legislation would be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated self-management skills, with the ability to multi-task and handle multiple demands while meeting tight and competing deadlines.
