Our client is an emerging and dynamic player in the Oil & Gas industry, dedicated to innovation, sustainability, and excellence. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gas Plant Operator to contribute to the success of our Operations Team in 2024.

**Position Overview**:
As a Gas Plant Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production and processing of natural gas. This role is a multi-skilled position. Your responsibilities will include operating and maintaining plant equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and optimizing plant efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with a strong background in gas plant operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and control gas processing equipment to ensure efficient and safe production.
- Monitor and adjust process parameters to maintain optimal plant performance
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot operational issues
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to address equipment repairs and improvements
- Implement and adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Actively support the clients and own self commitment to occupational Health, Safety, and the Environment
- Maintain accurate records of plant operations and submit reports as required
- Conducting load outs or dispatch operation for liquid products
- Provide Permit Holder/Issuer duties as required
- Isolation Authority as required
- Participate in training programs to stay current with industry best practices

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Minimum of 5 plus years of experience as a Gas Plant Operator or in a related role
- Technical degree or certification in a relevant field is desirable (Cert III - Process Plant Operations, Chemical Process Technology, Mechanical Engineering, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge and experience of gas plant operations, processing, and operating equipment - multiple production streams including LPG circuit, mole sieve, TEG, condensate regeneration etc.
- AJAX Compressor experience desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in the Oil & Gas industry
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with ability to liaise with all levels of management & staff
- Willingness and a flexible approach in working hours to meet varying workloads and operational demands
- Trade qualification is desirable
- Current First Aid Certificate preferred but not essential
