About the Role
As the HR Advisor you will work closely with the HR Business Partner, Victoria to support our people function for our Melbourne team and contribute to our ongoing industry success. Based in Melbourne and reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will be part of our Melbourne operational team, while also being connected in as part our Australian Unit HR team and wider regional and global HR community.
Supporting the HR Business Partner to deliver HR operations, you will have the opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in the people space, supporting HR outcomes aligned with our global, regional and local initiatives.
You will play a support role in implementing HR annual activities, projects and strategies that deliver tangible outcomes. Role modelling and actively contributing to our equality, diversity, inclusion and wellbeing initiatives will be your approach, as you provide hands-on assistance and oversight for people matters to employees and line managers alike. Working alongside the HR Business Partner, you will gain exposure to a wide range of people related matters, where no two days will be the same
- About you
You are an HR generalist who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment and are a true team player. Your highly developed interpersonal skills will assist you in working with various stakeholders across the business to provide practical and timely HR guidance and advice to employees and line managers around HR policies and procedures, ensuring our people are at the heart of everything we do. You are someone who can add value to our culture, is pro-active and approachable and is keen to build on your HR skillset and capability.
You hold a degree or diploma in Human Resources or of similar and can bring your proactive and problem-solving skills as you enjoy a challenge and take pride in delivering a high standard of customer service to your stakeholders.
If you have some experience in compensation structures and Australian Industrial Relations, including supporting roll outs of HR initiatives, this will be highly advantageous to your role, but not essential.
