The Social Worker is an experienced clinician who as a member of their multi-disciplinary team, delivers social work services to maximise the psychosocial adjustment of patients and their families through consultation and counselling, provides clinical/professional support and supervision to less experienced social workers and students, and contributes to best-practice service delivery through quality improvement and planning activities.

This leads to improved clinical outcomes for patients of the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), including the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH), The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH), Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre (HRC) and Repat Health Precinct (RHP) and community and ambulatory services or programs.

**Qualifications**
- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
