**About the role**
Due to our rapid growth, we are seeking a highly professional and presentable technician to join our field services team 3 days per week. We are looking for a technician to install, test, and service 9-volt battery powered smoke detectors in residential properties. The successful applicant will work across **Hobart** so willingness to travel and a love of driving is a must
The night before each workday, you will receive a schedule on your phone that will assist you in managing appointments for the next day. You will start your day from home to your first appointment, whilst utilising an app to record your process.
No two days will ever be the same Each inspection can vary between 10-30 minutes to ensure a property is safe and compliant, whilst travel time between appointments can vary between 15-60 minutes.
- Please be aware travel time to your first appointment can be up to 45-1 hour._
**Key requirements**
- Have or obtain an ABN (Australian Business Number) and Public Liability Insurance
- Driver’s licence and willingness to travel
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Present professionally, be well-spoken, and self-driven to work in a fast-paced environment
