**Description**:
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Electronic Security Technician to join our Security Solutions Team in Hobart.
**What we are looking for**:
Excellent Problem Solving Skills
Proficiency in Access Control, CCTV and Alarms
Understanding of the legislation around electronic security and monitoring
Highly organised individual with an eye for detail and good time management
Customer focus mindset
Understanding of performing security installations in accordance with Australian building codes and Australian standards
Someone who works well within a team but can also work autonomously
**Some of your day to day duties will include**:
- Advise on, and install, electronic security systems as required
Perform routine maintenance and testing on these systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with Australian and Tasmanian regulations.
- Provide technical support to other members of the security team and collaborate with external vendors as needed.
- Keep accurate records of security system maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Diagnose malfunctions of electronic security systems for the purpose of identifying repair/replacement needs necessary to maintain systems
