Jewish Care Victoria, is a not-for-profit organisation and is one of the largest providers of aged and community services for the Jewish Community in Victoria and has been servicing the community for 175 years. Our staff come from all cultural and religious backgrounds, and we provide cultural and spiritual training in the Jewish Ethos.**The role**
- The Allocations Manager will supervise and oversee all residential aged care rostering on a day-to-day basis - in conjunction with the Residence Managers to ensure the delivery of quality care and services at each home. This role coordinates staffing delivery in collaboration with the Administration teams for each Residence in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. Supervision and oversight will include effective allocation of staff and services, monitoring and maintenance of master rosters for each home to meet quality and statutory requirements, liaison with external labour hire agencies and internal BlueStar Rostering and Contact Centre Teams to ensure shifts are filled. This role will be a key contributor to projects including the implementation of a roster solution for the organisation.- This role will work collaboratively with the People & Development Team to inform workforce planning and recruitment priorities, and support effective recruitment, onboarding, development and retention.**What you will do**
- Oversee the daily allocations and roster for each residence
- Act with customer service and quality care delivery in mind
- Work with each Residence Manager and the Administration Team to ensure all service delivery requirements are met.
- Monitor, coordinate and manage staff leave and absenteeism
- Develop, implement and deliver an effective, on-going communications strategy to ensure that Residential staff are engaged with the organisation
- Maintain excellent relationships with internal multi-discipline teams
**What you will bring**
- Demonstrated rostering and scheduling management and/or workforce management within a human services setting
- Leading and engaging teams

- Customer-service focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills including demonstrated experience working with a wide range of stakeholders.
- High level of computer literacy including working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and ability to adapt to other IT systems
