**2 x Team Leaders Victim Assistance Program - Full Time SCHADS 6.1 - fixed-term contract until 30 June 2026.**

The Victims Assistance program (VAP) is a newly created program at DPV Health which will provide much needed support, referral and case management for anyone who has been impacted by crime. We will be locating the service across our Orange Door sites to ensure face to face as well as phone based services are accessible across the catchment.

The Team Leader’s role is to support the Victims Assistance Program (VAP) by overseeing the day to day running of the program.

As a Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

- Participate in the transition process from existing provider to DPV Health through the provision of operational and clinical activities.
- Coordinate allocations for intake and assessment.
- Provide intake, assessment and time limited discrete support for clients with urgent and complex needs.
- Ensure that the program is running effectively and efficiently and in line with funding requirements.
- Provide operational supervision for VAP staff and advise manager of any staff management and critical issues.
- Provide advice and strategic direction to Senior Management re: the program’s operational functioning.
- Build partnerships with key stakeholders and represent DPV Health at VAP Forums

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
To be successful, you will come with a Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent, 5 years' relevant experience and:

- Understanding of Family Violence and familiarity or experience with the MARAM Framework
- Experience in intake, assessment, care planning and case management
- A commitment to evidence-based practice with a desire to embed innovation to improve client outcomes.
- Experience as a team leader or operational management is desirable as well as postgraduate qualifications highly desirable.
