**Centre for Health Research**:
The Centre for Health Research (CHR) has a vision to be recognised for delivering world-class research and development in health, focused on the health and well-being of regional Australians, with an emphasis on the social and behavioural sciences broadly defined.

This is a unique opportunity to join the CHR team, conducting a program of digital, child and adolescent mental health research aligned to the Innovative Mental Health Solutions research program. This program aims to develop new innovative (digital) assessments and solutions for child and adolescent mental health and translate this research into real-world solutions that are accessible (to families and clinicians), low cost and that young people want to use. The Research Fellow will work on a Randomised Control Trial testing a new digital model of care for young people living in regional areas of Australia.

**About the Role**

As a Research Fellow, you will:

- Develop new treatment materials for child and adolescent anxiety that can supplement an existing digital program.
- Establish study protocols, ethics, recruitment strategies and clinical protocols.
- Implement participant recruitment and data collection.
- Deliver therapist support to participants, supervision of study therapists and clinical moderation.
- Data analysis and study write up.
- Implementing training activities to regional areas.

**About You**

Your energy and initiative, combined with your ability to work independently and collaboratively with fellow researchers and external partners will be vital to your success. Additionally, you will have:

- A doctoral or master’s qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing in the relevant discipline and eligibility for a blue card.
- Demonstrated professional experience and/or research expertise in Clinical Psychology or delivery of Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy to children and adolescents, especially for common mental health problems including anxiety and depression.
- Demonstrated experience in the conduct of research in the fields of digital mental health and prevention or treatment of child and adolescent mental health.
- Demonstrated experience in the collection, management, statistical analysis and reporting of clinical research data as evidenced by authorship of journal articles and/ or other academic reports.
- High level oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, relating well to people at all levels using diplomacy, tact, and sound judgement, with an ability to build constructive and effective relationships.

**Salary**:Total remuneration range $49,116 to $65,891 pa (includes salary range of $41,500 to $55,674 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
