**Specialist Visiting Dental Officer - Orthodontics - Hunter New England Local Health District**

**Specialist Visiting Dental Officer - Paediatric Dentistry - Hunter New England Local Health District**

HNELHD Oral Health is seeking to appoint a **Specialist Visiting Dental Officer in Orthodontics and a **Specialist Visiting Dental Officer in Paediatric Dentistry (2 positions)**

Both positions will be based with the Hunter New England Oral Health Service in the Newcastle, approximately a 2 hour drive from Sydney you will work on a sessional basis, providing specialist advice to our clinicians and oral medicine services to eligible patients. Sessions are to be negotiated. This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a growing multi-disciplinary team of general and specialist dental practitioners.
- Eligible for registration with the Dental Board of Australia and Specialist Qualification in Subspecialty
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
- Demonstrated understanding of infection control principles.
