**Leadership Opportunity | OSHC Opening in 2024**
As our Service Coordinator (Nominated Supervisor), you will be at the heart of our OSHC community, leading with passion and enthusiasm. Your experience and skills working with 5 to 12 year olds will shine as you guide our team to deliver outstanding care and meaningful experiences for the children. You’ll gain access to a mentor, thorough induction, training, and career pathway opportunities.
**About Us**:We pride ourselves on creating a warm, inviting, and fun filled environment for children in our care. We have a collaborative approach to delivering the My Time Our Place framework, fostering a safe and engaging space for children to thrive. We focus on developing strong relationships with families, caregivers, and the school community, making our OSHC service truly exceptional. Our service won’t be providing vacation care onsite however we have services within proximity.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Foster warmth and inclusivity, creating a positive atmosphere.
- Cultivate strong relationships with families, caregivers, and the school community.
- Champion compliance, aligning with NQF and regulatory standards.
- Elevate the team through sharing expertise during meetings.
- Build a collaborative rapport with the principal and school leadership.
- Provide compassionate support to children with support needs.
- Uphold core values of Respect, Encouragement, and Care in stakeholder interactions.
**We're looking for someone**
- With a qualification in Children's Services, ideally a Diploma or Cert III (or equivalent).
- Showcase substantial OSHC sector experience, highlighting leadership capabilities.
- Excel in communication and teamwork and thrive in a dynamic environment, effectively managing tasks.
- Possess a deep understanding of NQS and NQF regulations, evidencing commitment to quality care.
- Display proven leadership and an unwavering passion for nurturing children and their unique growth journeys.
**Child Safety**: Looking for an individual who understands, adheres to, and promotes
**The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations**. In your position, you will create a culture, adopt strategies, and take action to promote child wellbeing and prevent harm to children and young people.
**Requirement **Valid Paid NSW Working with Children Check
**(WWCC).**
**Vaccination**:
- (double Vaccinated)_ or approved
**Medical Exemption.**
**Proven leadership**, 1-year minimum experience of working with School age Children or in Early Childhood Education and Care.
