**About the role**

This position forms part of the Hilton Accounting & Finance Services (HAFS) Center of Excellence (CoE) Order to Cash (OTC) team for Australia dedicated to the delivery of timely and accurate accounting, financial reporting and analysis. This position will be required to manage the end to end accounts receivable, perform any OTC duties as assigned for any one or multiple hotel(s) from a central location. A critical aspect of the HAFS services is proper utilization of the various technology solutions. This position is also the back up for fellow colleagues in the HAFS COE office, relieving and assisting as required.

**Duties/responsibilities**
- Process all hotel billing and invoices timely and accurately
- Provide customer service relating to collection issues, process customer refunds, review accounts adjustments and resolve discrepancies and short payments
- Coordinate and conduct monthly Credit meetings for all hotels
- Participate in end of month close activities which includes journal preparation and adjustments
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation activities
- Undertake reviews and support team members in the Shared Service Centre
- Manage accounting queries and dispute resolution
- Build accurate financial reports and identify clearly any discrepancies
- Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when required
- Execute on tasks/requests as instructed by the Team Lead, Finance Manager and/or Director of Finance

**Skills and Qualifications**
As Team Member you are always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

- Previous experience in a high volume Accounts Receivable function. Experience in at least 1 other account function advantageous.
- Proficiency, at an intermediate to advanced level, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft programs (Excel and Word), Property Management Systems and Point of Sales Systems
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- High-level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external customers

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

- Previous Accounts experience within a hotel environment
- Relevant degree, in Accounting or related business discipline, from an academic institution
- Experience with Navision highly regarded
