**Medical Imaging Manager**

**Permanent Full Time - 80 hours per fortnight**
- Classification_: Dependant on experience _
- Award_: _Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021 - 2026_

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to join the team at MDHS, working as the Manager of Medical Imaging. In this role you will be responsible for the daily operational management, quality and leadership of the MDHS Medical Imaging Department, ensuring the delivery of a high quality, safe, accredited medical imaging service whilst promoting the values of MDHS as a quality Imaging Service Provider.

We are looking for someone with the following qualities:

- Experience at a senior management level
- Excellent communication skills and human resources experience to lead and manage
- Experience as Medical Imaging Technologist including significant time at a supervisory level

**KEY SELECTION CRITERIA**
- Commitment to the MDHS Values of Compassion, Respect, Excellence, Accountability, Teamwork and Ethical Behaviour.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Medical Imaging Technologist.
- Minimum of 10 years postgraduate experience as a Medical Imaging Technologist including significant time at a supervisory level in medical imaging.
- Extensive specialised knowledge and performance in one or more modalities.
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff, overseeing quality assurance programs, radiation safety requirements.
- Demonstrated communication and human resources experience to lead and manage a large department.
- Demonstrated problem solving and leadership skills to empower and support staff to perform the duties required of them to provide best patient care.
