**About the role**

As a Teacher of Metal Fabrication & Welding (Sheet Metal), you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of skilled trades by imparting your expertise and passion for metalworking to a diverse group of students. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities aimed at fostering technical proficiency, critical thinking, and industry readiness among aspiring welders and fabricators.

The role plays a pivotal role in assisting, mentoring, and enriching the learning journey. Through the delivery of educational programs and facilitating the acquisition of Metal Fabrication & Welding, you will inspire students by sharing your expertise and passion for the industry.

**About You**

As we embark on a new era to routinely refresh our courses to meet evolving industry expectations, you will bring not only your specialist knowledge, but also a highly flexible, adaptable, and innovative approach.

To be successful in this role you must:

- Hold the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of five (5) years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no later than the previous three (3) years.
