Our client is a local family owned and operated manufacturing company, specialising in building customised aluminium vessels for private, luxury and commercial use. We have an opportunity for a trade qualified Fabricator and Welder for a predominately workshop based role in the West Lake Macquarie region.

Those with aluminium and sheet metal boat construction experience and can confidently produce high quality MIG and TIG welds will be held in high regard for work with our client.

Suitable applicants for this position will ideally possess:

- Trade qualification & relevant industry tickets/competencies
- Experienced boat building construction, new and rebuild
- Proven experience with aluminium and sheet metal
- MIG & TIG welding experience and willingness to complete a weld test
- 2 Contactable references from recent and relevant employers
- A current drivers license and reliable transport

In return, the successful person will be offered a role with a respected local company with a competitive hourly rate and overtime available. There is also the opportunity to gain permanent employment and relocation costs will be considered for distant applicants.
