**About the role**

The Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing and managing high level corporate relationships and partnerships, and assisting in the development and implementation of the corporate partnerships strategy for CCQ that furthers our mission of leading Queenslanders in a partnership against cancer.

This role is a Permanent, Full-time role at 37.5 hours per week.

**About you**

To be successful in this role, the experienced philanthropy or partnerships professional will have established networks in the for-profit and for-purpose sectors and will know how to connect these organisations into mission through alignment to values, brand and environment, social and governance priorities.

The person will be an excellent communicator, comfortable with executive and community audiences, with a proven track record working with long-term corporate partners, trusts, foundations and/or philanthropic supporters.

As a valued manager within the department, the Corporate Partnerships Manager will provide oversight to key corporate fundraising income streams: Corporate Partnerships, Corporate Donors and Workplace Giving. They will be responsible for contracting, budgeting and compliance of the partnerships program, bringing a strategic mindset to building a coordinated approach to corporate engagement across the organisation, providing reporting and recommendations to Management and Executive.

Primary duties include (please see position description for all duties):

- Assist in the development and delivery of CCQ’s corporative investment strategy, with the aim of securing significant external income from the corporate sector with a focus on transformational partnerships and philanthropic giving.
- Provide oversight to key corporate fundraising income streams: Corporate Partnerships, Corporate Donors and Workplace Giving.
- Secure and manage high-level revenue-generating partnerships with ability to manage concurrent, multi stakeholder activities to deadlines.
- Develop and communicate effective pitches that create mutually beneficial relationships.
- Deliver high quality, customer-orientated service to adapt and respond in an agile manner to emerging corporate partnership opportunities.
- Prepare and present reports to management that monitor the ongoing effectiveness of fundraising and partnership activities.
- Utilise a database to monitor interactions with existing and prospective donors and partners, and report progress.

**Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills**

**Essential Skills**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Business with minimum 5 years’ experience in a Corporate Partnership or Business Development roles with evident program management and revenue success.
- Established network of contacts within the corporate sector.
- Demonstrated experience in securing and managing partnerships, and ability to manage concurrent, multi stakeholder activities to deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and communicating effective pitches that create mutually beneficial relationships.
- Knowledgeable in corporate giving strategies that maximise relationships such as corporate donations, trusts and foundations, strategic partnerships, sponsorships, brand alignments, cause-related marketing and/or workplace giving.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to drive concurrent projects and schedule and communicate across a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent operational skills, with abilities in budgeting, risk management, compliance and strategic planning and reporting.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience in a similar role in a for purpose organisation in Australia.
