**Training Admin Support Officer**

NSW Department of Education has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to join the ESR Skills and Pathways Directorate team as a VET teacher Training Admin Support Officer

**About the role**

The Pathway and Transitions team is currently looking for a high-quality administrative superstar who can step in and support the team for effective functioning of the department. No two days will be same here and, in this role, you will be involved in providing high level customer service to the teachers in addition to which you will also.
- Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes.
- Provide administrative support team, including arranging appointments, meetings and venues; taking and distributing minutes; as well as drafting confidential and general correspondence.

**About you**
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders;
- High attention to detail in administration tasks
- A proven ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively;
- A demonstrated ability to self-motivate and work autonomously under mínimal supervision;
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills and experience, particularly the Microsoft Office suite;
- Proficiency in using SAP finance, when raising purchase orders and dealing with other financial orders.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
- Experience in providing event management support.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
