Are you an experienced Perioperative Nurse looking for a new and rewarding role? Brisbane Private Hospital are seeking a Theatre Facilitator to join their Perioperative Team on either a full time or part time basis.

You will play a key role in deliveringeducation and support to staff and students across the facility and provide student orientation for each placement.

**As a Theatre Facilitator your responsibilities will include**:

- Facilitate students from a variety of approved tertiary institutions
- Deliver education and support to staff and students across the facility and provide student orientation for each placement
- Maintain an ongoing communication of student/staff expectation and provide learning that meets the needs of students and staff
- Facilitate the opportunity for staff and students to study and learn through observation, participation, reflection and skill development.
- Act as a role model for Safe Practice

**Essential Criteria**:

- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- Extensive nursing experience in a perioperative setting
- Experience working across orthopaedic, neruo, plastics, reconstructive and general surgeries
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused

**Desirable**:

- Certificate IV workplace training and Assessment (TAE) (or working towards)
- Post Graduate Certificate in related specialty area (or working towards)
- Prior experience in a leadership/educator/facilitator role
