Your role as a key member of the Centre Leadership Team is to inspire, motivate, support, challenge and lead the improvement and delivery of high quality educational programs and practice. You will also:

- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues and the centre community
- Role model, support and reflect on daily practices to drive high quality education and care
- Develop and monitor coaching plans where appropriate
- Monitor and support with family documentation
- Lead the QIP and facilitate child, family and team contribution
- Support in team coaching conversations and guiding practice by spending regular time in rooms mentoring
- Support the team to complete the planning cycle
- Using the NQS resources and Aurrum Gold Standard to guide exceeding themes and practice
- Attending professional learning sessions where appropriate
- Support the Centre Manager to complete our Quality and Compliance Audit program ensuring we remain compliant and focus on child safety
- Support with the day to day management of the centre as required
- Be an active participant in the Centre Leadership Team
- Act as the Responsible Person and Nominated Supervisor in the absence of the Centre Manager
- Drive the Aurrum values

**Ideal Background**
- Diploma in Children’s Services or Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Framework and National Quality Standards
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Have experience in a leadership role as you will be a key person in the centre success story
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates or willing to obtain
- Demonstrated proficiency with IT (Microsoft office and childcare-specific systems)
