**About the role**

The Room Leader will:

- Provide leadership in all aspects of room management
- Support and mentor a team of educators to maintain the provision of high quality services
- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community
- Implement innovative early learning program reflective of current early years best practice
- Document children’s learning and development
- Actively contribute to the implementation and adoption of the Aurrum Kids Curriculum

**Ideal Background**
- Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- 2 + years experience as a Room Leader
- Proven ability in managing a team, prioritising work and achieving outcomes in a timely manner
- Excellent understanding of the Early Years Framework and National Quality Standards
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Experience using a range of IT systems
- Understanding or experience of the Reggio Emilia philosophy

To be successful in the role you will need to provide the following:

- Evidence of Australian working rights (passport, birth certificate, citizenship or current visa).
- Current Working With Children Check
- First Aid Certificate including CPR & A&A
- Evidence of qualifications and any relevant professional education registrations
- Pre-existing injury declaration form
- COVID and Influenza vaccination certificates
