The Company

Our client is an iconic Australian business with a consistent trajectory of growth by entering several new markets leading to this newly created role. With an excellent culture that supports fantastic career development and progression opportunities, this role is perfect for an ambitious, autonomous and commercially minded finance business partner.

The Role

In this business critical role, you will report into the C-Suite and act as a trusted business partner to the Leadership Team (MD, GM's and Department Heads). You will be responsible for providing commercial expertise to the business with a focus on strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial modelling and analysis.

**Key tasks will include**:
Support financial planning and forecasting processes to ensure delivery of business planning around revenue, costs and capex;
Be the key financial contact for nominated SLT members, be able to communicate information and insights to drive successful business outcomes;
Dynamically forecast the financial position and reactively reforecast in line with the decisions of the business;
Undertake analysis including detailed scenario modelling, using a range of different assumptions to support recommendations; and

Identify trends, risks, opportunities and gaps and present these to senior stakeholders of the business.

You will be a genuine business partner who is able to build strong relationships across the business. Technically astute, you will have demonstrated success improving management and performance reporting through efficient systems and reporting tools.
