The Animal Referral Hospital is excited to open our fifth Referral and Emergency Hospital in New South Wales.

Based in Minchinbury and opening in October 2023, this multidisciplinary veterinary hospital will offer Western Sydney pet owners and their pets access to Emergency and Referral services. The site will offer a full diagnostic imaging suite including High-field MRI, CT, Fluoroscopy, Endoscopy and Ultrasound. A start-of-the-art ICU, three operating theatres and integrated RX works, VetS8 and Smartflow to support patient management.

The site will have dedicated training facilities including wet lab and education centre.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our inaugural veterinary team.

**Job Description**:
You will work within our Surgical team under the guidance and supervision of our senior registrar and specialist. The role encompasses assisting the surgeons with consultations, diagnostic procedures, surgical procedures, case management and patient discharges, assisting the nurses with anaesthesia, and assisting with post-operative care of patients.

We value work-life balance; therefore, the position encompasses a combination of weekend and weekday shifts within a 4-day workweek. We strive to provide an enjoyable and supportive work environment.

**Qualifications**:
**About You**
- A Veterinary degree registerable in the NSW
- Ideally have completed a rotating internship or equivalent
- A genuine desire to be a part of our team practicing the highest standards in veterinary care
- A keen interest in developing your knowledge and skills in Medicine
- Passion and self-motivation for continuing education
- Flexible, adaptable, positive attitude with a focus on teamwork
