We are looking for Fitters and fabricator to join our busy site in Wetherill Park.

Responsibilities and Objectives

The following are key activities and the main list of duties that are required to perform the position of Metal Fabricator:

- Fabricates and assembles steel products (bissalloy, 350 mild steel), interpreting technical drawings to produce products to specifications. Assemblies from 2kg to 200kg.
- Welding activities with MIG to AS1554 standard (minimum SP1).
- Assembly of some products and ongoing miscellaneous maintenance at the operations site.

(c) Analyzing

This position relies strongly on the ability to work with numerical data, analyzing and ensuring it’s integrity.
- Analyses numerical data, verbal data and other sources of information.
- Breaks information into component parts, patterns and relationships.
- Probes for further information or greater understanding of a problem.
- Makes rational judgements from the available information and analysis.
- Produces workable solutions to a range of problems.
- Demonstrates an understanding of how one issue may be part of a much larger system.

Qualifications and Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
- Tradesperson qualification (Fitter / Fabricator). Preferred.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus
- Overtime pay
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wetherill Park NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
