Essential Assessment, a leading online assessment and curriculum platform, is looking for an experienced Secondary Literacy Content Specialist (Years 7-10).

In this part-time role (0.4) you will:

- Create and modify Years 7-10 Literacy content for Essential Assessment’s learning and assessment products, in line with given content development guidelines.
- Review and map Australian Curriculum, NSW Syllabus and Victorian Curriculum documents against Essential Assessment content in order to ensure alignment and identify opportunities for development.
- Actively engage in editorial processes that include pre
- and post
- production feedback cycles and peer reviews.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to contribute to the achievement of individual, team and organisational goals.
- Review existing Essential Assessment literacy online and paper-based resources; propose changes to content to continuously improve our Literacy product offering.

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualification in Education and/or Teaching
- Experience in Year 7-10 English teaching in Australia
- Experience in planning and creating English/Literacy content in line with curriculum documents
- Understanding of Literacy pedagogy and best practices in Literacy teaching
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence with technology, in particular Microsoft Office.
- Legal right to live and work in Australia.
