The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will be a member of Colleague Total Rewards and Wellbeing (CTRW) and Colleague Experience Group (CEG) Australia and New Zealand. Responsible for supporting and implementing Compensation and Benefits (C&B) strategies, ongoing management of C&B programs and establishing strong vendor and stakeholder relationships. The individual will report to Director, Compensation & Benefits, APAC.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide Compensation & Benefits guidance and advice to Market HR / HR Business Partners to support the people agenda
- Conduct compensation and benefits review, new hire offers, maintenance of Pay Ranges and review incentive plans, etc.
- Be responsible for the management, development, implementation, and communication of benefit programs
- Provide support for Workers Compensation program, claims and reporting in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Be responsible for compliance with all regulatory frameworks and American Express protocols, procedure, policies, and audit requirements.
- Lead external partner and vendor partnership to be responsible for benefit program delivery including contract negotiation of program content, delivery and cost.
- Be responsible for WGEA reporting
- Support Health and Wellbeing programs and initiatives in the market
- Drive the reward & recognition priorities in the market
- Work in partnership with Compensation and Benefit Operations, Medical teams, and HR teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of C&B related programs
- Leverage opportunities to participate in global and regional C&B projects in support of our wider HR strategy

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Progressive experience in Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards & Wellness function in the ANZ Market
- Strong technical skills in both compensation and benefits delivery
- Proven understanding of the key drivers of compensation and benefit plan program changes in current market environment
- Ability to handle third party advisers and vendors
- Strong problem solving and developed critical thinking skills
- Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence colleagues, demonstrate a high degree of comfort with ambiguity, and ability to work autonomously.
