- As a Financial Analysis officer, you will conduct detailed financial assessments to support decision-making within the organisation such as analysing data, preparing reports, and providing insights for strategic planning.

- **Duration**: 5 Months**Requirements**:

- Ability to obtain Security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include 3-4 years of relevant experience.

**Key Responsibilities/Specifics**:

- Establishing a temporary team to overhaul budgeting processes for the upcoming fiscal year while simultaneously fulfilling BAU responsibilities.
- Enhancing the efficiency and efficacy of the team responsible for budget processing and reporting.
- Active participation in the budgeting process, contributing insights and analysis to inform decision-making.
- Proficiency in SAP, with experience navigating its functionalities.
- Familiarity with TM1, Cognos, and Excel, including advanced features such as V-lookups and Pivot Tables.
- Must be based in Canberra, available to work in the office one to two days per week.
- Minimum of 3 or 4 years of relevant experience, preferably within a large organisation.
- No specific qualifications required, but a solid accounting background or relevant finance experience is essential.
- Progress towards a degree in finance or related field may be suitable.
- CPA or CIMA certification would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with finance policies and standards, ensuring compliance and adherence throughout the budgeting process.
