Ferring+You
You will be responsible for managing the cycle of supply of Ferring’s products from accurate forecasting, through to managing of forecast orders, physical delivery & receipt of products into the country, and onward supply within Australia to our customers via our 3rd party warehousing & distribution partner. You will develop ongoing relationships with internal stakeholders, 3PL, customers and other key external stakeholders.
Your day at Ferring- Maintain monthly sales forecasts, including communication with sales & marketing to provide accurate forecasts for production planning.- Proactively communicate and manage potential supply interruption to minimise the impact on customers/patients.- Liaise with regulatory and quality assurance as required for the introduction of new or changed products into the supply chain, including process improvements.- Coordination with Ferring internal customer service to maintain adequate stock and resolve supply issues.-
- Ensure inventory control procedures with 3rd party warehousing & distribution partner warehouses are operating effectively, including regular review of stock provisions.- Manage supply for 3rd party distributor in NZ including monthly demand forecast, orders, quarterly recharges, and resolving supply-related issues. Assist with preparation of budget and business plan for agent in NZ.- Assist the Finance Manager as needed in the commercial assessment of 3rd party warehousing & distribution services, including as and when contracts expire or fall due for renewal.- Maintain Ferring products on National Product Catalogue (NPC) and keep up to date with changes.- Liaise with 3rd party warehousing & distribution partner to ensure contractual service levels and KPI’s are met and maintained, and there is cooperation for continual improvements to customer service.- Ensure compliance with internal control processes and guidelines.- Contribute to identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Behind our innovation There’s you- Demonstrated and successful track record within a logistics & supply environment, either with a healthcare/pharmaceutical company or an outsourced distribution & warehousing partner- Successful at building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders; and communicating informally and formally across all stakeholder groups.- System experience: ERP knowledge, Microsoft Dynamic NAV experience desirable but not essential.- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong attention to detail.- Self-motivated, able to work well autonomously and take personal initiative.- Eligibility to reside and work in Australia.
