**The Role**

You will be an integral part of a very busy team headed by a Special Counsel. The team includes an Associate and clerks. You will be expected to provide broad secretarial support to all team members, as well as being the first point of contact with the teams’ clients, barristers and other third parties.

You will be expected to be a team player, assisting other teams if you have work capacity to assist.

Your duties will include:

- Answer and direct incoming calls from clients, as well as the flow on calls from reception
- Collate briefs to Counsel, Mediation bundles and Hearing books
- Collate annexures for outgoing correspondence
- Maintain instructing Solicitor(s) diary
- Organise medico legal appointments, conferences with Barristers, Informal Settlement Conferences and Mediations
- Engross court documentation
- Provide administration support to the legal team
- Remind clients of upcoming appointments
- Maintain and update the file reporting system for the team

**About you**:

- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in support of client interaction
- Ability to liaise with third parties, including opposing solicitors, counsel and medical experts
- Maintenance of diary management and scheduling
- A meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously
- A collaborative team spirit
- A client focused mindset and a demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships
- Proficient typing skills
- Minimum two years’ experience in a legal administrative role
- Able to work in a paper-free environment, as many of the firm’s files are all digital files
- Experience using Affinity CMS, Adobe DC (pro version), and DocuSign will be highly regarded (but is not essential as training will be provided)
