**Job Description**:
**Location**: 225 St Georges Terrace, Perth
New opportunity for a **Commercial Lead **to join our Resource & Industrial’s team, where you will play a key role in developing pricing models and providing valuable insights to optimize revenue and profitability for our Mining and Energy portfolio.
Working closely with business leaders, your expertise in data analysis, market trends, and pricing strategies will play a crucial role in driving our business success.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and align pricing strategies accordingly.
- Monitor and evaluate pricing performance, identifying areas for improvement and recommending adjustments as needed.
- Design and develop pricing models for tender submissions, harmonised with accurate revenue and profitability projections.
- Gather, analyse, and interpret large datasets to extract meaningful insights related to pricing and profitability.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance pricing effectiveness and efficiency.
**Qualifications**:
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- Demonstrated analytical capability and sound commercial acumen.
- Proven experience in commercial pricing analysis, modelling, and strategy development within multi-geographic businesses
- Strong ability to work in an agile environment where we aim to disrupt in order to optimise and improve.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and experience with pricing optimisation is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex pricing concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python.
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Quantity Surveying, Economics, Law or a related field.
