**About the position**

The Marketing, Digital and Insights Division plays a key role in the development of customer growth and stakeholder engagement strategies across all available markets and channels including domestic, regional, international markets and online.

This role sits within the Brand & Creative Team. The team is responsible for planning, developing and delivering of creative marketing assets. Its purpose is the management of brand-aligned creative tasks on behalf of the University (photography, videography and graphic design): this will involve delivery of strategic advice and creative leadership, traffic management, quality assurance and coordination of the integrated production team (design and production) reinforced by contractors and panels of specialist third party vendors.

Responsibilities will include:

- Under direction from the Director of Brand & Creative, manage the delivery of integrated production projects for the Marketing team, including design, video and photography. Provide leadership, process, quality assurance oversight and performance management for the Integrated Production team.
- Provide strategic and technical support and advice to the wider University on design and production asset development and management. This will involve integration of a range of internal and external policies and demands, and the ability to delivery work operating within complex organisation structures.
- Develop systems (including prioritization, policies and processes) for the delivery of design and production work.
- Develop and maintain an effective and cohesive team.
- Build and manage relationships with panels of third-party specialist service providers of photography, videography and graphic design services.

To be the successful applicant you will have:

- University qualification in marketing, business, design, production or equivalent work experience with at least 5 years subsequent relevant experience to consolidate and extend the theories and principles learned, or extensive experience and management expertise, or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a complex and political environment and balance a range of priorities and expectations. Significant experience with marketing/creative teams and vendor management.
- Strong interpersonal skills including ability to negotiate, motivate, influence and build relationships.
- Exceptional consultation skills including the ability to communicate clearly with all stakeholders (clients, design team members, business partners and third party vendors).
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills with experience in working with and influencing senior management and also managing and leading staff to promote a cohesive and effective team and manage workflows.
