This role offers an initial 22-month opportunity, with 1 x 12-month extension option

**About the role**:
- The Armament, Life and Ground Support, C4ISREW, Training and Support Systems (ACTSS) Management Unit (MU) within Army Aviation Systems Branch (AASB) is currently delivering the Aviation Mission System (AMS). A small team of ATL contractors was engaged by the Multi-Role Helicopter Project Office (MRHPO) to design and deliver AMS based on a 2015 requirement to consolidate and remediate bespoke mission planning and management systems originally specified by legacy projects. Fixed site installations in Army Aviation (AAvn) Regiment and Brigade locations have been delivered and three releases are currently delivering major software upgrades, fixed site installation upgrades and deployable hardware. A final AMS acquisition release is in requirements definition phase which will satisfy the 2015 requirement in FY 23/24 and trigger transition to sustainment of AMS.
The AMS product is a combination of ICT and communications hardware and software, requiring highly technical and specialised personnel who can work harmoniously in a small team and collaboratively with a diverse range of AVNCOMD, CASG, CIOG, Land and Joint C4I and industry stakeholders to deliver sometimes-dynamic requirements.

**Role requirements**:
- ACTSS MU requires Aviation C4ISREW Management and Support Services team to complete acquisition of AMS and transition the ongoing support arrangements to sustainment processes. The scope of C4ISREW Management and Support Services includes the following resource:
One Aviation C4ISREW Integrated Product Team Lead [Level 3 Advanced Practitioner] or [Level 4 - Expert]
The scope of expert Aviation C4ISREW Integrated Product Team Lead Services include, but are not limited to:
Leadership of the Aviation C4ISREW Integrated Product Team and stewardship of the C4ISREW Systems Architecture and Integration Lab including establishing and maintaining effective partnerships across Project Offices, Systems Program Offices, Capability Managers, Government Organisations and industry partners.

**Completion of the following tasks**:
Delivery of AMS releases 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 to agreed schedules.
Support AVNCOMD presentations to LIB and IECB.
Develop and deliver the final AMS acquisition release ICW AVNCOMD to consolidate AMS.
Managing disposal of legacy GME, GMMS and CMMS.
Transition future AMS releases towards sustainment.
Develop sustainment KPIs for monthly reporting of AMS performance.
Provide specialist advice to define the Army Aviation C4I CONEMP, strategy and roadmap towards network convergence IAW Land and Joint directives.
Provide timely advice to answer CASG and AVNCOMD RFIs as required.
Provide formal justification for additional scope and cost requirements to deliver acquisition, sustainment and technical refresh releases.
Establish the governance framework to ensure transparency of AMS funding arrangements. xi. BPT integrate future major capital acquisition projects into AMS IAW formal DACM direction.

**Required Skills/Qualifications**:
- Significant knowledge and highly developed skills in use of MILIS.
Experience across Defence asset management lifecycle from procurement and inventory management to auditing and asset disposal.
Experience in a Fleet Support role.
Experience in Defence logistics.
