**Your role**

In this role you will be responsible for project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives. You will also provide pro-active Resource Management by working closely with the Delivery teams to ensure project resource demands are met, anticipated and allocated appropriately.

**What you ll do**

As a Resourse Officer you will:

- Assist in the development of management reporting for resource capacity and demand and maintain an up-to-date database of ICT skills and capabilities to inform and guide resource allocation and investment
- Improve our Project management tool/s to provide the ability to request, allocate and forecast resource capacity and demand
- Improve and administer simple principles/rules for resource allocation within the constraints of the Customer Centric staffing model
- Maintain an up-to-date database of ICT skills to inform and guide resource allocation and investment
- Maintain stakeholder relationships through planned and effective communication, as well as negotiation and issues management to engage support outcomes
- Provide a range of project management and support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans
- Ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope, in line with established agency project management methodology
- Contribute to the Business and Resource Management team wider deliverables as and when directed by the line manager

**What we re looking for**

An experienced Resource Officer who is motivated by outcomes and building strong relationships. To be considered for this role, your background and experience must meet the following criteria:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant experience, with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- Manage your time effectively across multiple and changing priorities
- Negotiating the allocation and re-allocation of resources to optimise project delivery
- Managing consultations and negotiations with diverse stakeholders, within agreed timelines, given their varying expectations, viewpoints and interests
