**Early Childhood Education and Care Traineeship**

Werribee Kids are seeking highly motivated trainees to complement our existing team. Consistently striving for _Excellence in Early Childhood Learning_ in a fun and stimulating work environment, Werribee Kids provide a fantastic supportive culture, where team are encouraged to grow and develop as educators and individuals.

Our centre is currently looking for applicants to undertake their traineeship in order to obtain their Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. Throughout your training you will receive valuable industry mentorship from your work colleagues as well as professional experts who will visit you on site to guide you through your studies.

**To be successful in the role you need to**:

- Provide children with the best possible environment to learn, play, grow and become their best selves
- Encourage children on a lifelong journey in education
- Have effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be a team player who is friendly and energetic

**What you will do**:

- Establish and develop positive, meaningful and caring relationships with children, families and the team around you
- Create a friendly, stimulating and secure learning environment
- Assist in delivering a challenging and supportive educational program to children aged 0 to 5 years

**About the Traineeship**
- No previous experience in childcare is necessary
- Course duration is approximately 12 months however flexibility if offered
- You will be expected to complete necessary paperwork/assignments whilst at the same time creating inspiring and secure learning environments for our children
- You must be willing to obtain a current First Aid Certificate with CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate
- You must hold or have applied for an Employee Working With Children’s Check prior to commencement.

Part-time hours: 15-38 per week

**Salary**: $10.11 - $20.54 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 38 per week
