**A bit about the role**
We are seeking experienced Early Childhood Educators who are passionate, motivated, enthusiastic, and who share a commitment to Early Childhood Education by providing innovative and quality outcomes for children. You will support our three
- and four-year-old teams in providing engaging and supportive programs for the children of our services across 22 Wyndham Kindergarten Sites.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to share your skills in our Early Education and Care Services team, we provide a unique play-based environment that encourages learning through experimentation, trial and error, watching, listening and participating. You will report to the Kindergarten Team Leader.

You would be the face of the service as you engage with Council’s diverse community on different levels including building relationships with families, staff groups and the community. Engagements that are focussed on ensuring positive family and community participation in line with Council’s shift to an integrated service approach.

**What you’ll deliver**
- The creation of a warm, welcoming, flexible and inclusive environment where supportive and respectful partnerships with all families are paramount
- A supportive environment where all children are supported within a high-quality Kindergarten program, inclusive of children with additional needs
- The ability to work collaboratively to assist with planning and documentation
- A continuous improvement approach to your work
- Follow best practice procedures in line with the unit’s policies and procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team

**What you’ll bring**
- Certificate 3 in Children’s Service (Graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Experience working in early years education is highly desirable but not essential
- Strong interpersonal skills and a teamwork ethos
- Understanding of the variety of local, state and commonwealth guidelines and regulations, and the ability to ensure compliance in line with council policies
- Current certificates in Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management and First Aid
- A current Working with Children’s Check and agreement to undergo a Police Check
- A positive, curious and flexible mind

If you are shortlisted you will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre, where you must be available to attend all day on either **Tuesday 28 February or Wednesday 2 March 2023**. Successful applicants will be required to attend Induction training on **Thursday** 27 April 2023**.

You will be required to provide evidence of a minimum of two Australian recognised COVID19 Vaccination Immunisation records prior to commencing employment with Council.
