**The Opportunity**:
This is a full time permanent position, reporting to the Manager - Talent. Newmont supports flexible remote working so you'll have the opportunity for team collaboration in the Subiaco hub in addition to working remotely. Newmont offers market competitive remuneration packages and benefits, along with parking at the Subiaco hub.

**Key Duties Include**:

- Leads talent acquisition activities within the Australian region, supporting team members to enable each person to meet their KPI's.
- Identifies, documents, communicates and implements best practice and process improvement opportunities to improve time to fill metrics and reduce vacancies of budgeted Newmont positions. Monitors performance and compliance.
- Be innovative and creative in the development of methods to attract the right people and ensure good health of our talent system.
- Leverages the Newmont Employee Experience framework to positively demonstrate the benefits for working in the organisation.
- Proactively and positively build leader capability in execution in the organisations diversity goals.
- Provides immigration support for TA related activities.
- Conducts end to end recruitment support to the region, ensuring compliance to legislation and Newmont procedures.

**Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications Checklist**:

- Human Resources / Marketing / Business qualification, plus extensive experience in the talent acquisition, preferably within the mining industry.
- Experience in high volume, talent placement firm that services the resources sector (desirable).
- Strong leadership skills that aligns to Newmont Values.
- Demonstrated ability to improve TA metrics such as time to fill and talent pipeline.
- Ability to plan, delegate and prioritise a heavy workload.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Proven computer literacy.
- An ability to understand recruitment systems to ensure they are supportive of efficient processes and are user friendly, SuccessFactors experience preferred.
