Campbell Page is a not-for profit organisation which has delivered a range of community services and employment programs across Australia for over 35 years. This includes providing support to disadvantaged youths, people at risk of or experiencing homelessness, young mothers, struggling families, and First Nations people.

**The Role**

As an Employment Consultant, you will provide ongoing support and mentoring to customers within the Disability Employment Services (DES) program, helping them to prepare for, find, secure and maintain sustainable employment. This will include:
Independently managing a diverse portfolio of clients living with mental or physical disabilities, which range in complexity
- Regularly engaging with and supporting clients, both in-person and remotely
- Collaborating with and referring clients to internal and external supports/services
- Actively sourcing job opportunities for clients by networking with prospective employers and community organisations, and by utilising innovative marketing techniques
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and assisting them to address their barriers to employment, using a customer-focused approach
- Mentoring clients on interview strategies and workplace expectations

**What You’ll Need**
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a client-facing role
- Experience working towards and achieving sales targets / KPIs, or similar
- Exceptional communication and client service skills
- Proven ability to engage with and motivate diverse stakeholders
- Strong planning, coordination and time management skills, with high attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously, with the support of a wider team
- Genuine desire to make a real change in people’s lives
- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ability to undertake / satisfy a National Police Clearance (criminal history check)
- Community services qualifications, or experience in the employment sector/recruitment would be advantageous, but they are not essential requirements of the role._
