THE ORGANISATION
Endeavor In Home Care Pty Ltd is a registered NDIS provider and government approved provider of Home Care Packages.
Our team operates throughout Greater Sydney and Greater Melbourne, and Brisbane, offering in-home care, respite, community participation, skills development, nursing and support co-ordination / case management services to our valued clients. We are a registered NDIS Service Provider and Aged Care Approved Provider.
This role is within our Wollogong office which has just opened. You will be a part of the growth and expansion of this office and team.
POSITION OBJECTIVE
This role has the responsibility of the coordination of the organisation’s Admin and HR systems whilst being a vital part in the HR lifecycle as well.
The role is Part time to start with, however the option for additional hours as the office grows will be open for discussion.
This position reports to Operations Manager
MAIN DUTIES
- Undertake day-to-day processing of HR administration duties pertaining to recruitment, on boarding, maintaining the HR database, leave processing and reporting, learning & development, WH&S, and off-boarding
- Be some point of contact for staff members, coordinators & managers for HR enquiries and escalating as required.
- General HR System administration including on-boarding, exits and structure changes
- Assisting Regional Managers in coordinating the end-to-end recruitment and on boarding of new employees
- Sound interpretation of relevant legislation, policy, agreements & awards and escalating as required.
- Drafting HR documents, reports (if necessary) and correspondence as required
- Coordinating and tracking staff learning & development as required
- Assisting with overall administrative and operational functions
Professional Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Tertiary level qualification in HR or relevant
- Valid working rights within Australia
- Minimum two (2) years’ work HR and Administration experience in a similar or related roles - preferably within NDIS/Disability/Aged Care industry
- Ability to consult and communicate with Senior Management and staff effectively to achieve critical outcomes
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- High level proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs (Word, MS Outlook, Adobe); previous experience with the HR systems will be a bonus for this position
- Able to handle multiple tasks and stay well organised
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyse and solve the problem
- Commitment to social justice principles, access and equity
- Valid Police Clearance/ NDIS Screening Clearance
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 24 per week
**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
