We currently have an exciting role for you to join our Community Learning & Libraries Team.

The Customer Experience Leader (Libraries) works with the Leadership team to ensure City of PAE Libraries offer progressive, relevant services which enable learning, growth, and recreation opportunities for all.

The role touches all elements of service delivery across the five libraries, ensuring the physical spaces, digital environment, collections and programs offer a cohesive service that delivers on the City’s strategic priorities.

**Key responsibilities of the position include**:

- Leading the day-to-day operations of a dynamic team across five library sites and an active Outreach program.
- Providing leadership, guidance, and coaching to team members that build capability and foster a positive working environment.
- Fostering a collaborative, inclusive and values driven team culture.
- Leading the service in delivering customer experience improvements and enhancements across all touch points.
- Coordinating an integrated library information service that includes readers advisory, reference, Council and community information.
- Delivering exceptional customer experience to library users and the wider community.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Extensive experience leading large and diverse teams to deliver outstanding customer experience and community outcomes.
- Significant industry experience working at a senior level in a public library environment.
- Demonstrated experience working within diverse community with complex social issues.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to develop, mentor and coach staff.

This is a Level 6 position which has a current salary range of $109,121 - $116,699 per annum (plus superannuation).
