You will play a pivotal role in the success of the Medical Affairs team and other functions as required. Through this role you will advance Ferring’s ambition to be a scientific leader. The MSL Manager will lead, coordinate and support field-based Medical Affairs personnel in the delivery of field-based Medical Affairs initiatives focused on scientific exchange with Key External Experts (KEEs) and in the collection, documentation and sharing of insights that are relevant to Ferring’s therapeutic areas of interest.

Your day at Ferring

In this dynamic role, you'll spearhead scientific dialogue with Key External Experts (KEEs) and oversee the collection and dissemination of insights, guiding a team of field-based Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs). Your mission includes crafting strategies, achieving key performance indicators, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to synchronize efforts. You'll engage KEEs personally, mentor the MSL team, and ensure compliance with industry standards. As an authority in Ferring's therapeutic domains, you'll enrich educational initiatives for stakeholders and drive medical strategy alongside the Medical Director. Your leadership will ensure the MSL team's objectives and growth align with company goals, maintaining rigorous documentation and oversight of KEE interactions and medical processes.

You should possess the following:

- Tertiary scientific/clinical qualifications
- Experience within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry and/or within a research institution or hospital/clinical setting
- Demonstrated track record in leading, developing and managing people (particularly in a field-based environment)
- Experience with compliance responsibilities
- Shows integrity, tenacity, resilience and adaptability in complex situations and changing environments
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and effectively communicates, in a technical environment
- Demonstrated track record and passion for communicating science
- Able to work collaboratively and transparently
- Able to analyse and take action without compromising quality within required timeframes
- Utilizes excellent communication skills and demonstrates intercultural adaptability and a high degree of emotional intelligence
- Demonstrates attention to detail, while being able to work on multiple projects
- Able to prioritize and maintain focus in a complex and changing environment
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal English language skills
