**What You Will Be Doing**
The Procurement Partner plays an essential role in the Procurement Department by providing expert support in sourcing and contract management activities. This position involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements, conducting market research, assisting with specification development, facilitating tender processes, and evaluating bids. The Procurement Partner ensures that all procurement activities adhere to probity and ethical standards while striving to achieve the best value for the organization. Leveraging solid procurement skills and knowledge, the Procurement Partner contributes to the strategic goals of the department, fosters collaborative relationships, and delivers exceptional customer service. This role requires a proactive and analytical approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Position Description
**What You Need**
We anticipate you will have:
- Proven experience procurement or purchasing role, preferably within healthcare sector or in a similar role
- Basic understanding of procurement principles, practices and regulations
- Proficiency in using procurement system such as iProc (Oracle) or similar platforms
- High level of accuracy and ability to maintain meticulous records and documentation
- Tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (desirable)

- Please refer to Health and Allied Services, Managers And Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 salary circular for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience. It is strongly recommended that individuals in this role remain up to date with their COVID-19 vaccinations.
