Baristas

We are seeking **casual **Barista’s to work within our onsite Café. These opportunities provide flexibility to work across a range of shifts that suit your needs

Catering Assistants

Our hospital caters to a wide range of meals for our patients. You will work alongside a fast-paced team, delivering food & beverages throughout the hospital and assisting the broader team as required. Have a say in your roster with a **part-time position**

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience in a café/ barista experience desired. All training will be provided on-site.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
- Compliance with HACCP, Food Safety and Workplace, Health and Safety
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays as well as weekdays
- Flexibility to work either morning or afternoon starts
- Experience in health care industry (Desirable)

**Remuneration**

Up to **$28.61 **per hour + superannuation based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.

**About Our Hospital**

Lake Macquarie Private Hospital is a 187 bed acute Medical and advanced surgical hospital situated on the Pacific Highway at Gateshead, 15 kms south of the Newcastle CBD. The hospital is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care Limited, the largest operator of private hospitals in Australia.

**Requirements**:

- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
