Join the Woolpert team as an HSE Manager and play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive workplace health and safety programs across Woolpert Australia. You will be at the forefront of ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards while fostering a culture of safety throughout Woolpert Asia-Pacific.

With no direct reports, your primary focus will be to provide leadership and strategic direction in collaborating with cross-functional departments and driving continuous improvement initiatives to minimize risks and enhance the well-being of employees and stakeholders.This role can be based at either of the Woolpert offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, or Wollongong.

**Key Responsibilities**:
You will be responsible for developing Woolpert's health and safety vision, strategy, and objectives, providing expert guidance on health and safety matters to influence decision-making and foster a proactive safety culture.design, implement, and manage comprehensive health and safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices. This includes conducting in-depth risk assessments and analyses, developing and implementing effective control measures and risk mitigation strategies, and overseeing comprehensive training programs.Lead investigations into significant workplace incidents, establish protocols for incident reporting and analysis, and drive initiatives to continuously improve health and safety performance. Collaborate with various stakeholders to share best practices and stay informed about industry developments.

**Minimum Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., CSP, CIH) is strongly preferred.Proven minimum of 8 years’ experience in a health and safety management role, with a track record of leadership and program development.Expert knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
