About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced HSE advisor to join our shutdown team in Adelaide. The successful candidate will support our team in the application of our core HSE management processes, conduct risk assessments, and influence HSE outcomes with clients and field employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and influencing positive HSE outcomes to issues and conflicts, ensuring a safe working environment for all stakeholders.
  • Conducting workplace risk assessments at various client sites, identifying potential hazards and implementing control measures.
  • Incident investigation and implementation of risk controls, minimizing downtime and promoting a culture of safety.
  • Providing support to management in the administration of continuous improvement programs, gathering and distributing audit results, and driving business growth through improved efficiency and productivity.
  • Data analysis and conversion of data and reports into meaningful information for the management team, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.

Requirements

  • A minimum of Cert IV in Health & Safety, demonstrating a strong understanding of HSE principles and practices.
  • Previous HSEQ experience from a range of industries, with a proven track record of delivering safe and efficient work practices.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a cooperative team and help others when needed.
  • A willingness to learn and grow with the company, embracing new challenges and opportunities for professional development.
