**A bit about the role**
This role will see you support the Community First Team functions relating to front of house and contact centre operations.

**What you’ll deliver**
- Provide excellent customer support to the community and staff across all customer channels; phone, front counter, webchat, online enquiries.
- Ensure service levels and standards are met, within Council’s policies with a focus on customer satisfaction and industry best practice.
- Personally handle or redirect enquiries as appropriate, in an efficient, courteous and professional manner.
- Provide cashiering services as required.
- Utilise Councils reporting system to record the nature and type of customer enquiries to ensure a successful outcome for the customer.

**What you’ll bring**
- Demonstrated experience working in a call centre of face to face customer service environment.
- Knowledge of the business of local government and its relationship to community.
- A sound level of computer literacy with an emphasis on database programs.
- A great customer centric attitude to ensure customers are at the centre of what you do.
- A positive, curious and flexible mind.
