The Student Administration and Library Services team at Swinburne University of Technology are looking for a Scholarly Resources Officer to join their team
The Scholarly Resources Officer is responsible for the acquisition and renewal of scholarly resources and collections to facilitate teaching, learning and research at Swinburne and will also support the Library Resources Analyst in the gathering and management of library resources statistics.
This opportunity will allow the successful applicant to work in a rapidly evolving field of resources acquisitions, management and licensing while navigating the changing nature of scholarly publishing including Open Access publishing and Read and Publish agreements.
**About You**
**To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities**:
- Excellent administration, organizational skills and high level of attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve problems effectively and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, to work independently, and to plan work activities under broad direction
**Qualifications**
- Completion of a relevant degree or other qualification with relevant work-related experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education or training
